Lightning, A little to close
I was testing out my new camera I got for my birthday and seeing as we have had an abundance of thunderstorms as of late I thought I would try to capture a lightning strike on camera. I usually don't say oh snap, but it was the first thing that came to my mind. After I sat down and uploaded this video I realized I was carrying a chunk of metal (Taurus M85) on my belt, I wonder if that makes us easier targets during lightning storms.
Anyway video shot by me tonight about 11:00PM

Re: Lightning, A little to close
Happy birthday!
When I was watching it was like, okay... did he leave the lens cap on?
And then boom!
Glad you're safe.

Re: Lightning, A little to close
There was a pretty significant delay between the flash and the thunder. That bolt was nowhere near you.
