has anyone built an AR15 pistol on the forum? i am considering doing one soon and wondering how others like theirs. thanks.

I built one right after the AWB ended.

I used a DPMS lower, Bushmaster lower parts kit and a 7" CMMG Kitty Kat upper.

Do yourself a favor and use an Ace buffer tube. The Model 1 Sales short pistol buffer is junk. There's another company that makes a buffer similar to the short M1S buffer that's supposed to work better but I can't remember the name and I haven't heard anything good about it.

AR-15 pistols aren't really good for anything but making noise, blowing big balls of fire from the muzzle, and inducing big grins from anyone that shoots them. The only reason I built mine was as a middle finger to the liberals when the AWB ended.
