Yes I understand fully, I am one of them. I would gladly write it off in exchange for getting new production MGs.

Now the sad part is if the nfa goes away it will be the cost of ammunition that became the restriction on the exercise of liberty.

I sincerely believe that is the point of what you see today. Why else is every agency buy ammunition by the freight load?
ts not greed, its a investment. I buy most of my firearms for investment purposes.
    Selling them is another thing.

That's exactly the reason why I haven't bought any transferrable MG's. I know NFA is going away...

We can discuss all the unconstitutionality of NFA and 2A rules, but we have to deal with reality. Many states are going to slam through legislation making their own rules. Those of course will be fodder for many more lawsuits over many years.

We may finally reach the desired goal, but to think we're going to be building new MG's within the next year is more than optimistic.

I like the optimism. I'll take a fun switch or 12, thanks.

Let's add to your middle ground the removal of the Huhges Amendment. Otherwise the giggle switch will remain unobtainable for most of us.

I do as I always please. I don*t recognize the NFA because I*m not a felon or have criminal intention. But I*m my own manufacturer as well. If I WANT a specific item, I make it myself. Honestly though, I find suppressors rather useless. And although I*ve countless hours of use of many MG*s, I find them boring now. Not to mention the utter waste of ammunition! My job for a time was to instruct persons on MG use, it became unsatisfying. Watching shooter after shooter get all *giddy* about dumbing 300rds+ into the air! (And a few shots peppering paper).

No, give me a Semi any day. Precision, accuracy & thought. This is something Liberals don*t understand. Had the shooter in Las Vegas NOT used that stupid humility-bumps-bumba stock, the death toll would have likely been 4 fold! Thank The Lord that drugged animal, hired by the Democrat party, wasn*t any smarter than they are!
