Father to Son tranfer of pistol
I am buying a hand gun from my Father. I do not live in the same house do we still have to transfer the pistol in my name.

As long as you are not a prohibited person, of legal age, and both you and your father are residents of PA, you can purchase the pistol from him and there are no requirements for paperwork, transfers, etc.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

You give him the money, he gives you the handgun.
No muss, no fuss, no FFL, no paperwork.
All legal.
