No assault rifle used in Newtown?
I thought I read that CNN came out and said that a rifle was not used in Newtown. I can't seem to find the thread/link.
Can anyone point me in the right direction.
P.S. It may have been on face but I thought I saw it here.
Thanks

Re: No assault rifle used in Newtown?
There is info everywhere. And it all contradicts itself. I honestly can't keep track of what guns he supposedly used or not. Latest I heard was 4 pistols and no rifle.

Re: No assault rifle used in Newtown?
Maybe thats why there are several court orders halting the release of any information for at least 90 days ...

Re: No assault rifle used in Newtown?
Yeah the facts would get in the way of enacting an emotion driven AWB if there uh umm ahhh, was not an assault weapon used
What would happen then? The sheeple would continue baaa baaa baaing at the same tune and tempo of the Brady Bunch? (hope not) The President wouldn't have a bully pulpit to shout from?(Hope so) Biden would once again taste his own shoe leather? (Tainted with doggie one can only hope)
Stay tuned boys and girls.Derrion Albert was my Hero.

Re: No assault rifle used in Newtown?
You'd have to line up a lot of ducks to maintain a lie like this. Are you really suggesting the ME made up his findings to try to pass an AWB (that is still unlikely to pass)?
This is seriously some tin-foil hat level conspiracy theory.
(If information changes I will gladly apologize, but I really don't think it will).

Re: No assault rifle used in Newtown?
One of the first statements I heard was from a cop, one of the first on the scene, who stated that he used a Glock & a Sig & that they found a Bushmaster in the back seat of the shooter's vehicle which made him wonder what he had planned to do next. News media buried that story real fast though

Re: No assault rifle used in Newtown?
Watch the video of the interview with the ME on you tube or the ones linked on this site.
I find it highly suspicious that whenever he is asked a question about what type of weapon used he says to the body of reporters "did everyone hear the question?" He only says that when asked about the weapon or related questions. Not about the sex of the kids, the ages or any of the other many questions asked.
He was asked if the wounds were through and through. He said no, the ammunition used was designed to expend all it's energy in the tissue. I do not claim to be a ballistics expert, but I think even .223 hollow points would pass through (I don't want to seem callous, please forgive me)a small child at that range.
He was asked what caliber, how many rounds etc yet he deferred that question to leo.Go sell crazy some where else, we're all stocked up here.
