Thumbs up Great Day of OC!

I decided to wear a suit today for work. Normally we just wear some shorts, a T-shirt that says some corny phrase like "Dirty Dicks Crabhouse", but today I wanted to sparkle, so I wore a suit. Without a jacket. So when I was not in the office I OC'd. Before work I stopped in Turkey Hill for some eateries. No issues there. For lunch I went to a new and improved Chinese place, not knowing if they were gonna like my Glock on my hip. I feel that the suit allowed me to breeze on in. Then after, back to Turkey Hill for a pack of cancer styx.

I felt that me wearing a suit helped out my OC'ing a lot. I looked presentable as it were, and then there was that "piece of respect" on my hip. I have no doubt in my mind some people thought I was some sort of "figure". Looking official wasn't my goal.

It was good, I felt great about it, and now I'm done. I won't be going anywhere else today, just home. To change... It's too bleeding hot for this outfit!

Yeah, it was pretty smart to wait for the first heat wave of the summer

What kind of holster were you using? I've noticed that people are also less intimidated when you're carrying in a nice leather DeSantis as opposed to a plastic Safariland or Serpa.
