Obama will be teaming up with Rendell?
do you think it is possible that if fast eddie loses again for passing the house bill 18 he will go directly to Obama for support and Obama is a very powerful man he can get just about anything he asks for especially if he is talking about gun control like Clinton i am scared cuz he already has a Clinton on his team....

Re: Obama will be teaming up with Rendell?
wrong forum, this should go in one of the politics forums
obama has plenty of stuff to worry about than to try to help rendell muscle something past state senate/house of reps. he needs his political karma for other stuff. If he would waste karma pushing something through it'd be on the national level (where he can actually affect change), and where he'd be using favors he actually has.

Re: Obama will be teaming up with Rendell?
sorry i picked the wrong forum i am new at this, and when Obama is done with the important things, give him couple more months then he will help Rendell muscle his way for stricter gun control cuz Clinton wants Obama to do what he did in 1994 and i feel it coming cuz Obama was a hard liner when he was senator in Ill.

Re: Obama will be teaming up with Rendell?
Rendell is a Philly politician. He doesn't have much concept of what goes on in the rest of the state (despite being governor). He talks liberal politics, but most of the Democrats in the government (except for other Philly types like him) are fairly conservative. He can push some things through, but with Obama's "clinging to guns and religion" comments, and his being able to get elected due to the dissatisfaction with the Bush (real or media hyped), he's not likely to get much gun legislation pushed through the legislature.

How quickly can you get him thrown out?
