    Default My three builds

Here are three of my ar-15s. All three were built from scratch. The first is a retro styled XM16E1 based on a NoDak Spudd lower. The second is a Rock River A2. And the third is a M4 style based on a Essential Arms lower.

I really like the 'Nam rifle. I thought about putting a 3 prong flash hider on an mid-length carbine.

How do you like the XM vs. the A2?

I haven't even shot the XM yet, just finished it yesterday. I'm sure i'm going to like the
a2 better, just because I have done alot of trigger and spring work in order to make it nice and smooth. The XM16E1 is all stock.

Love the retro. The Nodak Spud lowers are a retro builder's dream come true.

You have to be 18 (I think) to buy the lower receiver and the rest can be sent to your house. If ordering the lower from the internet it must be transfered through a FFL dealer. A good place to start is www.del-ton.com, or www.gunbroker.com. Del-Ton has everything you need to get started, and good prices.
