Default None Of The Above Vote

I have done some simple vote counting in a few precincts.

Several candidates won because not everyone cast a full ballot. By full ballot, I mean casting a vote for each office.

In one school board election, there were 2500 total voters who cast some ballot. Only 2000 were cast in for the school board. The winner took the vote 800, 600, 400, and 200. That leaves 500 "no votes." This should have left a vacant spot on the school bard as the the top three get elected. The 400 vote getter should have not been seated because they were beat by "No Vote."

I personally believe this count needs to made for all elections so that every one can see that there are other factors at work in the election process.

    1) This is a "None Of The Above" vote.

    2) We do not care vote.

Either way, this is sad. A few other offices also had similar results. I even did this for an election out of state and got the same results. There is a good percentage of "No Ballot Cast" going on.

FYI...I did round these numbers up and down to the nearest 100 for usage here.

It is too bad that "None of the above" won't be an option for the fall presidential election.....

Just vote for whoever the Libertarian candidate is --- this is about the same as voting for "none of the above".

The Libertarian candidate at least shows that you still care about personal freedom a little more than the "none of the above" vote.
Useless laws weaken the necessary laws.
