Cindy Sheehan 'resigns' as protest leader - Interesting Read
This is actually somewhat interesting for this part alone:
[SNIP] "However, when I started to hold the Democratic party to the same standards that I held the Republican party, support for my cause started to erode and the left started labelling me with the same slurs that the right used," she wrote.
"I guess no one paid attention to me when I said that the issue of peace and people dying for no reason is not a matter of right or left, but right and wrong," she wrote in the diary. [SNIP]
Don't worry though, they just had a story on CNN about it and didn't mention that part at all. Not too surprising considering their pro left views.
Politics as usual.

Well, at least now she realizes what the rest of us already knew: that the left is no better, no more morally correct, etc. than the right. Maybe she'll vote for Ron Paul

I'm sorry the loss of her son as well as many other of my brothers and sisters in arms that have died in this war, but you know what? He was atleast 18, VOLUNTEERED to join the Army and went to war and died for his country.
When I was in Iraq, I only heard one person say "I didn't sign up for this *#&$"
He can probably still feel my boot in his ass.
When people decide to join the Militray they need to realize that "Hey, I might have to go and actually earn my GI bill."
And the MOA (Mothers of America) need to realize that thier precious kiddies are all grown up and can make thier own decisions regarding thier lives.
When I have children, if any of them serve and die performing their duties, so be it, someone has to do it, and at least my kids will be prepared for what they may face.
The cost of peace is not free, it's sad to loose a loved one and while she may see it as he died for nothing, it's the act of her and every other anti war liberal saying it that makes it true, and that makes me ill.
I'm sure if he were able to hear her words he would disagree."We shoot to stop. ... Unfortunately, death can be a byproduct."
