Default Poll: Where should gun laws be made?

Where should gun laws be made? Assuming that the level at which they are made is the level from which they are enforced.

there are only two legitimate gun laws in PA.

    one says:

"the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"

    and the other says:

"the right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the state shall not be questioned."

given that neither of these leave any room for any exceptions, all other gun laws are in violation of them and, thus, not legitimate.

(though i would not recommend breaking them since you may end up feeling a whole lot of illegitimate pain if you do.)

I especially enjoy the part of our law that says you can go to prison for ten years for owning a short barrel rifle or shotgun, but everything is peaches and cream if you send us a check.

By sending in your check, does that make such dangerous and forbidden guns more user friendly? Does it make you a more responsible gun owner?

Profoundly true... but we all known that there are no absolutes when it comes to human nature. Someone is going to continue to makes laws about guns.

I must agree with you, and that is what is written in the bold print. But when you read the fine print at the very bottom, it states

    "Unless you make any mistakes".

I'm certain that if I could afford AJ's Dream Team, I would be able to have all of m guns back and still buy more.

The only way the state should make the law is to prevent felony's from getting a gun legally
