hi all whats the best ammo to buy for a mossberg 500 persuader, 8 shot cylinder bore with a 20 inch barrel, looking to shoot some clays and maybe paper target with a slug. thanks joe

Hey Joey its funny ya started this thread..i just got the same shot gun last week
with the real imitation carbon look on the forearm and stock.it shoots great .
i use 00 buck and slug. changed the stock to pistol grip what a differance it makes!!

For shooting clays any 3 dram (1200 fps) load with 7 1/2 or 8 shot is a pretty good all around load.

glad I could help. I shoot a lot of trap and I use that load all the time, its good for any of the shotgun disciplines.
