Default PAFOA shoots at different ranges..

I know I would be willing to talk to allegheny country and northside sportsmans to try to get us a few dates where they post that alot of us that will be there shooting... but both you can take as many guests as you like, i believe its $2dollars a guest at each... I think north side would be a great place for a good sized shoot the pistol and rifle ranges are side by side, lots of tables for food.

    Hey, who is this guy?
Newbie comes in here and starts trying to hijack our group shoot!

    Kidding!

TheHighChild and I started this in Pgh about 5 months ago.
It started by me inviting some members to the range. Only THC showed, but we had a good time.
We tried a meet the next month and about 10 showed, the next time I think there were 20, then 15. (I may have those last two mixed up)
This time, it's looking like we'll have 25-30.

THC and I had talked about taking this "on the road", but never got past the talking part of it. PMSC has been kind enough to allow these group shoots to be held at the club and it's working out well since several of us PAFOA members are also PMSC members. It makes setting up/cleaning up and scheduling easier when several club members help out.

I was initially thinking of using PMSC as the "home site" of the group shoot and going to another club every other month.
If anyone has a club that would be suitable for this type of event, I'm willing to try another location.I'm not "organizing" a shoot at another club though. You invite us - you plan it!

Some of the "lazy" people who won't drive across town may show up if the shoot is held in their "area". After having met and shot with the guys that have come to these shoots, I'd be happy to drive a bit to shoot with them again! Heck, we've had a member from Johnstown drive down for this! Lycanthrope has made the long drive a few times as well.

If someone out there has a suggestion for another location, that's fine with me. I'd enjoy visiting another range. (as long as I don't have to drive more than 15 minutes. )

I was just wondering, will we ever have a Pafoa shoot on this side of the state too, i.e. PA Dutch Country, Hershey, Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley?
