    Default AK before and after.

    Had a little free time this last weekend so I thought I would refinish my AK furniture. Its hard to see from the pics but it is bit different. Mostly its glossy now, I didn't want to change the color drastically just wanted a bit nicer finish. Anyway hope you enjoy

    Nice job!

    I'm up in the air right now about to place my order for all 4 grips. All I know is I want the checkered wood pistol grip, lol. Now to decide between walnut, beech, teak, or laminate. I'm leaning towards going for a reddish colored stock by the time I'm done.

    Thanks! I am pleased with how the wood turned out. I was going to spray it but the weather was not the greatest so I just brushed it on. plus lots of wet sanding and buffing
