OK, I'll put my sh*t in the wind.

Working in corrections. You learn fast that the best place to hide something is in your crotch, cause most corrections officers won't check there.

Anyway, one day about 15 years ago, I am doing random pat searches of inmates coming into the Infirmary Pill Line. As I patted one guy down I felt a long cylindrical thing down near his knee. I asked him if he had taken a banana from the dining hall. He slowly turned and looked me in the eye and said nope.

OK, now I must admit, I didn't catch on right away. I reached down and grabbed the item in the leg of his pants again and said, "Then what the hell is......" it was then that I realized that it was all him. Everyone standing around busted up laughing (inmates, nurses, and Co's), and the guys reminded me about that for years to come after that.

I now check the crotch area a bit slower, and don't grab anything to firmly or to fast.

That actually happened to me too. I saw an inmate stuffing things in his jumper, (he was known for it, caught him with tobacco in his waistband above his package before) when I did a pat down I found a couple things but I thought he had more stuff. So I kept searching and didn't realize how low I went and what I had grabbed. He goes, "Yo that's my dick!" I was like damn, really?? Sh*t, I wouldn't say that to loud, I thought it was one of those mini toothpaste tubes.

When I check for contraband in the crotch area, I use my boot. I know if it's contraband depending on how loud they scream and how long they're down. No muss, no fuss and no need for hand sanitizer when you're done. l)
