    Default monthly rd count

in the ball park, how many pistol rounds do you think you may send down range?
since i started reloading earlier this year my count has gone through the roof.
between loads i'm playing with and loads i already like, i could easily top 3-400 45autos a month. once i get a load for the carbine that number will change greatly.
i just started toying with 357, so that might only be 150-200/month. looking to raise that number, i like that pistol.
45auto-rim is lagging way behind, at best that's only 100/m.
just picked up 9mm dies, but those ol boys might not even see 50/m.

i've found the reloading to be almost as much fun as the actual shooting part.
the range is a 10 minute drive, so some nights i through a dozen or so loads with a new recipe together and run out quick.
it's only metal, we can out think it....

Id say 400 rounds a month for me. I usually bring two guns, 100 rounds for each one and go twice about month.

I only put approx 100 rds total down range last month..unfortunately..had a busy month.

I hope to send a lot more in July, though.

I don't have the variety of calibers as Brian so my count on 45 will be higher, but during a normal month I have been shooting around the 800 - 1000rds of 45 acp and about 400rds of 22 LR. The past month has been pretty slow for me, and I have only shot about 700rds iof 45, and 300rds of 22lr inn the month of June as I just finished off the second box of 45 projectiles from June tonight, plus dipped into the SWCs while I was making loads up for tomorrow.

I know this is pistol ammo, but I have been shooting about 500rds a month of .308win as well. Again with June being the exception.

If we have a big get together, I end up shooting more which could put me up to the 2000 round mark. Again, depends on what we are doing.

Ever since the prices have gone through the roof I havent shot 50 rounds off.Well ive probably shot 100 .22's. I've been saving more ammo than anything and I havent been stockpiling i've just been laying back waiting on the ammo to go back down and then i'll make a range trip and bring 50 rounds per gun. I've learned that I do not need to shoot as much as I have been, it's not worth it to me because I don't reload and I easily went through 700 bucks worth of ammo within a 2 month period and i've been replacing that ever since then...

I live less than a mile from the range so if I get bored or just want to go on an extended smoke break, I head up to kill time (and paper). My wife goes too sometimes.

We easily average 1000 rounds of 9mm, 300 rounds of mixed 38/357, and I shoot at least another 100 rounds of various rifle calibers. I'm not counting 22's or shotguns, as those amounts vary too much. Also not counting when friends of relatives show up and want to shoot as well.

The only reason I can shoot this much is because I reload. Thank God for the Missouri Bullet Company, with good quality cast bullets at great prices that make it a little more affordable. (Check em out on the web to save a little money for those who shoot cast bullets.)
