glock vs m&p...hahaha its gonna be glock i suspect for the most of the comments but m&p has several die hard fans so i want you to have at it...particularly keep it to the glock 20/m&p .40/.357 SIG...ino its not the best calibers or the most used ones. well the .40 is but anyways. just tell what you want to say about these guns. pretty much want to see all the best large frame glocks and the m&p's yall have. so pictures pictures pictures and say what you modified....please keep it to these two brands. i personally do not want to see anymore xd's/hk/fnp's...good guns but i want to stick with these pistols.

Save your pennies, buy both... They're both great guns, really can't go wrong...

They ARE both great. That being said get the M&P 40. Ammo is cheaper so you can shoot more. It's a great gun with great ergonics with a better trigger (I think personally especialally after it smooths out) The crimson trace lasergrips integrate seamlessly with the gun. It's built like a tank and looks WAY sexier than a glock.

Or, just do what I do and spend your money on cheap women.

The M&P has better ergonomics due to the sm / md / lg replaceable grip panels. The Glock has a better out of the box trigger but the Glock will definitely need a new set of sights. I opted for the M&P and a dan burwell trigger job. I think I made a good decision because I shoot the M&P with dan's trigger work considerably better than I shoot a Glock.

If your hands are large enough to accommodate the Glock's larger grip circumference to me it boils down to this, a Glock and new sights or an M&P with a trigger job. That's about as close to "six of one, half dozen of another" as you can get.

As far as the guns go, it's a matter of personal preference. Both are fine firearms. Hold them, fondle them, shoot them if you can.

The difference will be in the cartridges. I know you are planning on reloading. If you go with the 10mm, you won't really have an option. 10mm is expensive, and not always available. OTOH, it's got the potential for bunches more power, if you think you have a real need for the extra boom.

I gotta go with Glocks. Although I own several S&Ws the only pistol in the bunch is a M-39-2. I liked the first gen of S&W pistols... I had a couple of 645s when they came out. Glocks do need a little help when they're hatched. Very little. I rebuilt the trigger system and replaced the sights on both my .40s.
