    Default Para LTC Range Report

Ok so here it is I took out my newly purchased but used Para Ordinance LTC 1911, remember I am a Glock boy. So I put one hundred round through it and.... I ma thrilled what a great handgun!!!! Para has made on hell of a handgun, it is deadly accurate and puts you right back on target!! My double taps are so much much better with the buttery trigger pull of the Para. No FTF of FTE I was so happy. The only problem I had with it was that the Mag catch worked it self loose, so I pulled it out (remarkably easy to do) and noticed the previous owner had it drenched in oil. I was like what the hell, so I pulled it apart, wiped it dry and put it back in. It seems to function flawlessly now. I ran the target way out to 75 feet and hit paper no problem and I am no sharp shooter either. I ran 230 grain Win white box, and 230 grain federal Hydrashoks through it and it ate them like a hungry Lion. it ejects cleanly in a very predictable path. I even tried to limp wrist it and it kept right on coming, Thanks Para!! All I am wondering is why no one recommends them more??

Glad to hear that it is working so well for you. Now the question is will it replace the Glock as your carry piece?

Nothing will ever replace my Glock 30 as my carry gun, but hey it may give it a little time off here and there. The 1911's are awesome easy to work on and very easy to shoot they all but aim themselves!!! So pleased!!!!!!!

My experience with the Para LDA 18-9 was much the same except the tight chamber will not take some reloads.

I own Para PXT, and letme tell you that its one accurate gun.

It can certainly out shoot most shooter.
And once I spend some money to accurize it, I think it can be even more accurate.

Para is great bung for buck if you ask me.

What is with that flyer? lol I am still learning the 1911 so I am not near as accurate as that but I will be soon. Nice shooting tex. Is that rested, or is it standing two handed?

that was standing with 2 hand hold.

    Donno whats with the flyer...
It was cheap CCI Blazer Alminum cased ammo I was using.
Could be bad ammo, twitch with my finger, batterfly effect from Hillaly farting 3000miles away, hot chick walked by..... could be anything..
But even with flyer, I'm still in 2" group. So i think its pretty darn good(I haven't been able to get it that tight since then tho)

With 1911, I find it more accurate to have loser grip, and let the gun to do its recoil cycle(but not limp wristing).
I have trigger at almost to the first joint - Sort like how you shoot DA revolver...

I picked up one of the Buds Gun Shop Special Edition 4" Para 1911's....quite impressed so far. Great price and great gun, very accurate and nice trigger too. I would not hesitate a second to pick up another...and just might
