Are you shipping the rifle to yourself in AZ?

Are you going to put it in your checked luggage and fly? I would suggest checking it and flying with it...

Call your Airline carrier about their TSA procedures or check them online. Do yourself a favor and print it as well.

If you're going to be anywhere near Mesa, AZ make sure you go shoot at the Usery Pass range on Ellsworth road. It's right at the base of the mountain with the big PHOENIX sign on it. $6 to shoot all day.

Good to know I go out to Mesa, AZ every once in a while, haven't gone since I got into guns though. We have reciprocity with AZ too I believe!

Yes but even then if you OC you don't need a permit of any kind. Anybody can OC in AZ even in the car.

To get to Usery just get on Ellsworth Rd and head north. The road will get kinda twisty and it'll be on your left at the base of the mountain. There is a big sign that says something about Rio Salado Sportman Club. If you go, check the awning overhead and to the target side. You'll see bundles of shell casings. The black steel ones are mine. My SKS ejects them right up there every time.

If you're lucky you'll run into Rob Leatham there as that is his practice range.

Yup thats it. I lived right down the road from there for 3 years.

If you can see that little dirt spot just above the righthand target, thats where the steel target is. It is at 300yds and I have hit that sumbitch with all but one gun I've tried with. Gotta love that metallic thunk when your round hits its mark.
