Default Can you buy an AK for anything close to what they cost last year????

Or is it just that these classified ads(here and other places as well) are just way over inflated. I mean I saw a WASR-10 with 2 20rd mags, and nothing else of any consiquence for $800.00

Or am I completely missing the boat here and it is as bad as everyine says it would be/will be?

It will cost you more, but thats a very inflated price. I saw a lot of AKs in the 500-600$ range at the days in show today.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

I'll tell you what, just to prove I'm not buying into all this new AWB hype that's sending military style rifle prices to rediculously high levels, I have a full auto Romanian AK-47 * that I purchased last year for $2200, but I'll sell it to you for a mere $2150.

    * some assembly required, receiver not included.

yeah I have seen them as well. I think that is inflated as well. If I'm gonna pay $600 bucks it had better come with a good bit of ammo, mags and such.

The $350 AKs are long gone, if that's what you're asking.
Gloria: "65 percent of the people murdered in the last 10 years were killed by hand guns"
Archie Bunker: "would it make you feel better, little girl, if they was pushed outta windows?"

The simple answer is NO! However I think you are seeing that things are stabilizing instead of continuing to climb past utter stupidity.

yeah, a lot of those high starting bid priced AK's if you look on gunbroker dont have any bidsany more. A few weeks ago they where selling at those crazy prices. The panic buyers may have gone broke.

A guy on here just picked up a fixed stock yugo on GB for $500.
