CC at UFC, Wachovia Center last night

Last year game five of the world series my wife and I went there for a sixers game and then went to the phillies afterwards and I cc'd. No issues. Mikey when you where there during one of the fights they said that a fight broke out in the crowd and i was curious if you got to see it. I think that it was during the Josh Neer fight. I was hoping that they would show on paperview.

What was the crowds reaction to Forrest running from the octogon after the fight? I thought that it was one of the weirdest things I have seen. Such an accomplished fighter I thought would have stayed in the cage.

i laughed my ass off. he talked so much smack about Silva over the past few months, and got PWNED. i'd run, too, if i got humiliated the way he did.

Anderson Silva is the best P4P fighter right now in MMA... even better than Fedor IMO.

I went to the UFC 101 event last night. I debated taking my gun inside as I did not want to get kicked out since my seat was $400 and I didn't want to risk losing that. What made up my mind was two things. One being the thread from mythaeus about carrying to the ball park, and his just being asked to put it in his car, or lock it in the locker. The other was the guy being killed a few hundred yards from where we were, after the ball game last week. I figured my life was worth more than $400, so I took the chance.

The funny part is, there was absolutely no security whatsoever, getting into the Wachovia Center. All they did was scan our tickets, and we were free to roam about without any wanding or anything. I was very surprised to say the least. I had been there before for a basketball game, and remember being patted down before entering, but nothing of the sort, this time.

The fights were great and the croud behavior was better than I expected. In all, it was a good night and very uneventful. Just thought I would share my findings.
