Good Gun Belt
Hey Everyone,
I recently purchased a Crossbreed Super Tuck for my Glock 19, and I was thinking about buying a good gun belt to go along with it. I've heard great things about the 1 1/2 in Gunners Alley Gun Belt, but wondered if there were any equally good belts for cheaper than $70? Thanks in advance!

Re: Good Gun Belt
I've worn one of these for 5 years, and have never had any issues with it. After shipping though, you're close to that $70 price tag, and even closer if your waist is over 46 inches.

Re: Good Gun Belt
I have been hunting for a belt for a while, and have been asking all my buddies. They all like the Wilderness Gunbelts.

They recommend the 5 stitch version for a stiffer belt. The black ones that my buddies had were very nice looking belts. And some of them say they wear them all the time. This is one heck of a belt, doulbing as a repelling harness in a pinch. It runs around $40.The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control....
The day they want my guns, they'll have to bring theirs!!!Proud to be One of the 3%

Re: Good Gun Belt
I have a 5.11 leather casual belt in 1.5inch. It has a permastiff insert for carrying a sidearm. I paid like $40 for it and it works good for me. Eventually I will get a Beltman, but for now this works. I also use a 5.11 Trainer Belt in 1.5 inch. Paid like $25 for it and it works great with IWB carry.

Re: Good Gun Belt
I too have been looking for a good gun belt. What about contoured vs. straight? Some say the contoured is more comfortable, others can't tell the difference. Any opinions?

Re: Good Gun Belt
5.11's Trainer and Operator belts are (to my understanding) Wilderness clones. I have used the Trainer belt and thought it was great. It goes for $30 from LA Police Gear.

Re: Good Gun Belt
Under $50...Wilderness 5 stitch. The Galco and UM are cheaper and work ok but Wilderness is a real quality piece of gear. Gunner's Alley belts are made by The Beltman. A quality leather double layer gun belt for less than $70 would be a steal. If you find one, let me know. I'll buy a bunch of them.
