    Default Argh! Hi-Point!

I brought home a new toy last night, a 955 carbine, went to install the charging handle... and found this.

    Somebody stole my threads!

$5 at your local hardware store. Bring the bolt handle so they can match the threads.

Dang. You gotta be a seriously non-thinking, mechanically un-inclined assmunch to strip threads THAT coarse.
You should get your money back from whoever sold it to you.

Another option would be to contact Hi-Point.
It's very likely, they would send you the replacement part.

Besides weighing a ton and made from the highest quality materials this country has to offer. These things run pretty good. They're pretty accurate too. I personally wouldn't buy one.

I got mine used for 75 bucks with the cheapo red dot. Except for the charging handle unscrewing after a few shots, it runs just fine. It is what it is.
