What Would You Do?

Two armed thugs held-up a Radnor Township Wawa convenience store last evening. Upset with the amount of cash in the safe, one of the thugs fired a shot into the floor and an employee was injured by the flying debris.

I am in a Wawa five times a day, or so it seems. For you West-Siders, I understand it's Sheetz. So if you found yourself in a Wawa or Sheetz during a hold-up, what, if anything, would you do?

Overall good video. Way to many things come into play to decide ahead of time what you would do. It also shows in most cases the best is just being a good witness. The bad guy gets the money and leaves.

Even in the Radnor case the bad guy did fire into the ground but left without shooting anyone.

First thoughts to run through my head (not even fully formed, just the instant mental response without any conscious thinking)

Get out of their sight, check line of fire, wait.

Now for the conscious thinking.

Assess if they intend to use their weapons or if they're just using them to scare clerks/customers into compliance. If its just to scare people, the store has insurance to cover the stolen money. If they intend to use, my life is at risk, defend myself.

it all depends on where i am at in the store when it was going down. if i was hidden my gun would be out and ready. if i was able to get into a position to shoot i would move. if i was not able to move without being seen, i guess just wait to see what goes down.

There are may variables here. Going off of what Kel said, I would evaluate my options and if I think I would be in a position to take out the immediate threat while being able to quickly move and cover the next threat.
