A Mk19. I'd love to empty a full chain of grenades into a building.

Re: Favorite gun and why
I'd like to buy a Thompson SMG. But read on. . .
In the Army, when deployed to Bosnia, we held a weapons turn in/amnesty program.
Someone showed up with not one, but TWO MG-42s and 3 or 4 belts of ammunition. One of the MGs was vintage '40s and another one was from the 60s.
The one from the 40s jammed, so I had to switch to the backup MG42 which worked pretty well for probably sitting in a barn for 50 years. They were insanely fast firing.

Re: Favorite gun and why
For me it's a toss up between the M2 and the Mk19.
Of course, if I had enough $$$$ I could own an M2. Don't think the gov would let me have a Mk19 with real ammo (not the training rounds).
There's just something about lobbing grenades rapid fire that's cool as hell. And I was amazed at the range and accuracy of the Mk19.

Of every one hundred men in battle, ten should not even be there. Eighty, are nothing but targets. Nine are the real fighters, we are lucky to have them since they make the battle. Ah, but the one—one is the Warrior—and he brings the others home. —Heracletus
