Default Picked up a Bersa 380 Lite today.

Well my GF just got me a birthday gift. She chipped in half for me to pick up the Bersa 380 Lite DuoTone.

Won't get to shoot it till this weekend probably, but I've liked the other bersa 380's I've tried. It's kind of a gift for both of us actually, as my GF has now asked me to take her shooting and that she's gonna be able to shoot this time But she did not want to start with my big gun.

I have a very good feeling after a day at the range now, that she'll be getting one herself, it's weird, it's a good fit for me for a bug, and a good fit for her as a primary lol.

While I was out there at Gander Mtn, I had actually been looking to put the Model 66 they had had there on layaway. I had my PAFOA shirt on and dont ya know one of our new guys was there. Montanya. So met with him and chatted for a bit. Then he pointed out the Bersa and my GF whispered to me "I think I can shoot that" so then we went out and she gave me the money to get my B-day gift which I think she'll end up getting one for herself.

There is one bad thing I almost forgot to mention, this gun is not for a new shooter. There is very little operating instruction. If I didn't know what I was doing I would more than likely be lost on how to operate it.

Congrats on the Bersa. My most carried handgun is my Keltec 380. Try Powrball ammo, you will like it, expensive though. I got my S&W 66 in 1983 and if I could only have one handgun it would be a hard choice between it and my Colt Combat Commander .45.

I have an old school Bersa .380 model 85.

I freaking love it, and you will freaking love yours.

The second time I took it to the range, I got all 10 rounds inside an 8inch shoot-n-see target at 55 feet. Nothing to write home about, but not too shabby either.

(BTW, thanks for supporting my home-country!)

Just out of curiosity why do you refer to it as the "Lite"? You mentioned it is duotone which seems to be just a standard Bersa Thunder .380. Did Bersa start making a lighter framed verison of the Thunder .380 or possibly a duotone "CC" model. Thanks in advance!
