In the past I've been the type to say "friends don't let friends buy Taurus" with good reason when it came to their polymer hand guns. Recently I've been impressed with their ability to give the gun community frequent and decent offerings. I only own one and it's a revolver but I have to say, they are consciously changing their shitty reputation and it's working IMO.

I will try it. I have 5 Taurus handguns including 2 revolvers. Have yet to have any problems with any of them.

I own a few Taurus handguns and to date they've been perfectly reliable. I just wish they'd give us an option without the manual safety. That's the main thing that keeps me from carrying one.

If Taurus revolvers were any good , why did the Brazilian national police and military buy millions of S&W revolvers?

I don't doubt that at all...Taurus fails big time with customer service

I believe the manual safety is a federal requirement for imports...

Yes, I've heard the same thing. Would be nice if they opened a factory in the states.

They did in Bainbridge, GA. Not sure which models are made here though.

Thanks. I was not aware of that. Although it does sound familiar now that you've pointed it out. I probably heard it in a video at some point. My memory sucks so who knows lol

Just did a quick search. Opened in 2019 and they first were making the TX22 there which does have a manual safety. I guess Taurus just loves their safeties.
