Augmentation of County LTCF stats
If you have the stats for LTCF issued by county in a database, could you possibly add the county populations for each year then provide a trend graph that shows the percentage of population issues a LTCF for each year by county and for the state as a whole?
I think that the awareness and if I could use the term "Market Penetration" with respect to LTCF would be interesting.
If this informaiton is already available could someone provide a pointer?NRA Life Member. OC is comfy!

Re: Augmentation of County LTCF stats
One other question related to the number of "LTCFs Issued". Is that the number of licenses issued that year or the number of active licenses for that year?
If it is the number isses that year are there any statistics of valid licenses in effect from year to year?
How can we answer the question what percentage of the population have LTCF?NRA Life Member. OC is comfy!

Re: Augmentation of County LTCF stats
My understanding is that is the # issued, not the total number in circulation at the end of the year. Additionally, I do not know which issueances were new permits versus renewals (since they are really the same thing)
Unfortunately this makes it pretty impossible to do a "market penetration" calculation because I do not know where we started from, or how many issuances are just renewals.Dan P, Founder & President, Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association

Re: Augmentation of County LTCF stats
I think that the number of LTCF currently active would be a good statistic for discussion when address all the locations that want the public but say no weapons.
Does anyone have any idea how this number could be had? Anyone close to a Sheriff that could ask if the total number of active licenses is available as data? If he says no, any lawyer types know if this type of information falls under disclosure or right to know laws?NRA Life Member. OC is comfy!
