Where do you guys draw the line and say "it's too damn cold" to go to the range?

When you shoot, the gun goes click the bird breaks from frostbite and you have to come back in a few days to hear the BANG thaw out...

Obviously not shooting enough to keep it warm...

Ask Lycanthrope about cold... we where out in Jean jackets shooting clays, it was upper 60s when I left home, cold as fVck when I left there, the lights would not even turn on!

Zero is my personal best, plinking pie tins with some rifles near my buddies camp in the Adirondaks last winter. M1s do some weird shit in the cold.

I was shooting a Mosin that day. The wood stock doesn't get too warm without just cause.

shot my M16 in full auto at exactly zero degrees.

worked out full mag dumps without a hitch.

Pennsylvania doesn't get cold enough to bar trips from the range.

Granted, it may affect my gun choice. I'm more tempted to bring an AK that will throw a ton of heat than, say, my Kel-Tec Sub-2000 which throws no heat whatsoever.

The cold is not as much of an issue as rain or snow. When I was younger I would still go out in snow storms.

Shooting in the snow would be pretty fun.
