Default Heller denied 'permit' by DC, same as machinegun?

Oh this is rich, the man that brought the supreme court case against DC has been denied a handgun permit because ........ wait for it

A spokesman for the DC Police says the gun was a bottom-loading weapon, and according to their interpretation, all bottom-loading guns are outlawed because they are grouped with machine guns.

I knew they would do stuff like this...The ban is lifted but they will make it next to impossible to own/register/carry a firearm unless you are well connected.

Well. They are right, according to the regs set by Fenty and his camp of retards, that is anyway. I read the same thing yesterday, here on the NEWS forum. Makes me ill.

It does say this on the DC Metropolitan Police Department website:

What types of firearms can I register?
    Shotguns, rifles, and revolvers.

So apparently no semi-auto handguns. Surely sucks.

Heller should have know this but tried anyway to register his gun with a "seven bullet clip"?
Should have known they'd slap him down.

No apology needed. I don't care about DUPES. It is the same story in a way but told from another facet. No biggy.

After reading all the stuff on the decision and what they were planning to do, thought I was confused. Seems like the only difference now is that you have tp pay $60 for the same thing as before. Guns are to be unloaded, disassembled and locked in the home except for immediate threat. Guess I wasn't.

This is ridiculous to the point of being laughable...if it wasn't so pathetic. This is a scenario where you truly fail to find the right words. Hell, even Chuck Schumer wouldn't do this...Ah hell *goes back to lunch*.
