Default Hard time finding .308 Hornady SST bullets. Help?

I'm having a hard time getting 150gr Hornady SST bullets in .308. Anyone know of any place that has them? My local shop has them on order for me but no time frame when they will arrive.

Would like to pick up a couple hundred if possible.

I don't live in your area, and don't shoot that bullet, so I can't help much. I'm going to wish you good luck though because you'll likely need a lot of it. That's a fairly popular bullet, in a very popular caliber. Hate to say it, but it could be a while. There's a reason lots of us stocked up on what we like to shoot a long time ago. I hope you can find a place though, that would be nice.

Yeah well, that is what I get I suppose. I just got the gun and I just started reloading for this caliber.

Thanks, that deals mostly with their pre packaged ammunition.

I've called hornady and they said they won't have more in the supply line until Early to Mid November.

I saw 4 boxes the other day at a local gun shop. I bought one and figured I'd pick the rest up when I got paid. Went back and they didn't have any left.

I have 100 left which is more than enough to get me through but I like shooting it.

Hornady makes two versions of the 150gr SST in .308. One is for the .308 and one is for the .300 savage. They are different part numbers and bullets are physically different.

I do not see the 150gr .308 SST part # on Hornady's suspension list so they probably just need more time to catch up.

I should be going to one of my local shops tomorrow. If I remember I will check to see if they have any.

Correct, sorry I forgot to add that into my post. I'm looking for 30302 which are the standard .308 bullets not the ones 30303 for the 300 savage.

Everyone I'm talking is saying mid Nov. so I guess I will have to wait.

Trop in E-Town had some last week, but they are closed until the 7th due to the move. Hakes in Wrightsville had some 165's but I am not sure about 150's. Check MidwayUSA.com
