Default Anti-Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device Act of 2007 (Introduced in House)

And yet again it is time to start emailing those Reps. I have already emailed mine. This is a fancy bill! It was originally known as HR 1022. Prior to the VA Tech incident McCarthy tried to get this to pass. After the VA Tech incident it is now HR 1859. I will attach the bill for you all to read.

Hopefully the links work and my information is correct. If it needs fixing please let me know.

    Both links work just fine.

What I'm not getting is this: Is she pushing just this bill now, or is HR 1022 still in the pipe??

This looks like it is just a restart of the 1994 AWB - and if so this is just beating a dead horse... the 1994 AWB didn't work.

Here's a link to a .pdf made by the US Department of Justice, detailing how the 1994 AWB failed.

PS: If this is a reboot of Klinton's AWB, start mailing your reps right now and informing them that you wont vote for them if they support more wasting of your taxpayer money!

This madness needs to stop. I immediately contacted my congressman once I saw this, I was expecting something to come out of this anyhow.

Can someone point me to a list of the Federal Represenatives Email addresses? I know my own rep's but i feel contacting all of them as a Pennsylvanian is warranted...

Well i completed writing to "both" my districts (I maintain two residencies).

Since most of the Reps wont even read messages from people outside their district (atleast thats what it says.) i think I'm going to "phone attack" them

My understanding is HR 1859 is HR 1022. They are one in the same. It is also my understanding that HR 1022 didn't make it but now since VA Tech it is under a new guise HR 1859

Are we sure HR1059 is the right number... I run a search for 1059 and get this...
