Cliff Kincaid's article on the Global Poverty Act (trying to be rushed through Biden's senate committee this week) is here:

http://www.familysecuritymatters.org...php?id=1386596

In addition to the issues of U.S. sovereignty, Kincaid lists additional "commitments" to the signers:

In addition to seeking to eradicate poverty, that declaration commits nations to banning “small arms and light weapons” and ratifying a series of treaties, including the International Criminal Court Treaty, the Kyoto Protocol (global warming treaty), the Convention on Biological Diversity, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child....The bill defines the term “Millennium Development Goals” as the goals set out in the United Nations Millennium Declaration, General Assembly Resolution 55/2 (2000).

Included in the 2000 declaration is:

• To take concerted action to end illicit traffic in small arms and light weapons, especially by making arms transfers more transparent and supporting regional disarmament measures...
This act has Democrat and Republican support; I wanted to alert everyone of the additional commitments within this "poverty act"...
