Fallen Hero - Rest In Peace. And a question came to mind.....

But the pic got me thinking......
What do our Armed Services do with the service weapons of fallen soldiers? Are they 'retired'? Or are they simply absorbed into the stock system and reissued to a different unit?
I dunno.

I would imagine they are reabsorbed like they are when a service person retires.
