Did you ever notice that some of the best jokes come from the Armed Forces?

EXAMPLE:
Written on a wall in a latrine at Tan Son Nhut airbase, Vietnam, 1968:

Half the women in Viet Nam have VD
Half the women have TB

Someone wrote below:

So, only screw the ones that cough.

The latrine inside MACV in Ton Son Nhut had about 30 stalls and each of them was covered with some of the funniest shit I've ever read. I wish I'd had the presence of mind to write it all down for a book.

I was told that the CO had standing orders that the graffiti was never to be touched. I wonder if anyone ever did write all of them down......
