Default Has anyone used Ironwood Designs

I was interested in using a pistol grip from ironwood designs but have been unable to get a hold of the guy for a week now. Has anyone used any of the parts from this company and if so what do you think?

Matt makes excellent USA replacement stock sets in just about any configuration you need for an AK. I ordered a complete set to de-neuter a MAK90 of mine. I've got pictures of it posted on the board if you search for it. You may have a considerable wait for your parts, that is the only drawback. I think it took me 2-3 months after I ordered for my parts, but I was fully aware of the wait before hand, so no problems there for me.

    David ...

I've never personally used ironwood, but I would not hesitate to order from Matt. He has a great reputation for producing the best repo AK stocks. I have yet to hear anyone complain about his products, and believe me with some of the detailed people over on theakforum.net, that is tough to do.

I too have been thinking of purchasing from them. I would really like a set for my Century AK rather than all the Tapco crap that came on it. Once the holidays are over and i can get some cash saved up ill place an order.

How long can i expect to wait for my order once its placed?

i have ironwood on several FAL. great stuff. the "second quality" stuff is better than most factory stocks you will see on modern sporting rifles.

I just got an email from them lastnight and they are moving to another shop this week and will be back and running next week. They will be producing a lot faster and will be able to ship things out in 1-3 business days. So I am going to wait till after the holidays and get something nice.
