Feed back on the Sig 250

Fits my hand & I like the DA trigger pull.

I had one for a while. It had the smoothest DA trigger I had ever pulled, and I have pulled a lot. But, it is gone. It was too small for my hand. I have very large hands, large like on the end of the spectrum large. Along with that SIG has been diddling around coming out with the conversion kits, and I got tired of waiting for the larger grip and the .45 ACP conversion. So I sold it.

For hand size reference, here is my paw wrapped around a SIG Sauer P220.

Glad to help, although I don't know how much useful information I provided.

I should have added that I ran around 500 rounds through it with no problems whatsoever. It was very easy to clean, disassemble, reassemble, etc. It was also very comfortable for me to carry, but I just could not get the accuracy out of it that I wanted, and I think it is mainly due to my hand size and the shape of the grip. I was beginning to think it was me that was the problem, but my other SIGs shoot very well for me. I could get decent groups with it, they were just in the wrong place.

I think it was just a case of the gun not being well suited for me. There are a lot of things like that in this world.

Good luck with your decision. If it fits your hand well, I think you will do well with it. The guy who bought it from me was shooting it better than I was, and that after less than one box of ammo.

I am a big lover of Sigs and in general I love their triggers. That being said though I found the 250's trigger to be much to heavy and long to be comfortable. Also the trigger reset was huge. I love the concept and it felt great in my hand, but I much prefer to shoot a 226, 299 or even 220.

i popped off a few rounds on a new one at a range one day while comparing my 226 with this other guys new 250. now being used to the SA/DA trigger on the 226, the 250 trigger seemed way too hard to pull on, while keeping it lined up on the target for me. the pull seemed a bit too long to me also. tho the rest of the gun did fell pretty good to me. im just not a fan of the poly guns. id say give it a few shots and see how it fits you, because i know after shooting it, its not for me.

The poop I heard was that it's okay for the range, but not for carry: too many issues with light primer strikes.

I've seen them, fondled them, and I think that the modular concept is a cool idea, but I don't think that the 250 spent enough time in the oven.
