can i conceal with a ltcf

am new to the forum and i am going to get my ltcf,but was wondering if i can conceal my firearm or do i need onother license or permit?also judt to make sure can i have it loaded?my brother has a ltcf he said when i go over to the courthouse say its for protection does that cover more than say hunting i live in tioga county pa. is there any diffrent rule or regulations?any imput on this would be very helpfull or any websites with this info.thank you very much.

A LTCF permits you to carry a handgun concealed & loaded. I would suggest using self-defense as this covers most reasons.

The LTCF fulfills the exemption allowing you to conceal or carry in a vehicle. ....that is the purpose of the LTCF(plus a couple other minor things).

A person does not need a LTCF to openly carry a handgun on foot, that includes while hunting. But you need a LTCF to transport that said handgun in a vehicle whether unloaded or not, except for a very few exceptions.

There are very few hard and fast rules or laws concerning firearms. You should familiarize yourself with all current laws, both case and statute, that cover carrying firearms and the use of deadly force. The PAFOA Reference Library is a good place to start.

When Sheriff Perry was there. He marked all the LTCF as protection. Now we have a new sheriff. I don't know how he is running things. I would suggest you download the form and fill it in except for the signing and go submit it.
Under Perry it was one stop shopping.

It doesn't matter what the license is marked. Any LTCF is good for all applicable purposes. Anyone who tells you otherwise (including a Sheriff or his staff) is wrong.
