As far as "legal firearms";
Any WWII Rifle;
US M1 Garand
M1 Carbine
M1903
M1917
German K98
K/G 41
K/G 43
Russian Mosin-Nagant 91/30
Mosin-Nagant 91

British Enfield all variations

Hopefully you get the picture...
All rifles must have "AS ISSUED SIGHTS"
The Club has a limited number of M1 Garands which can be loaned for the shoot.
Ammo for the Club Garands must be purchased from the club, unless the Match Director approves your ammo.
Cost should still be $ 0.50/rd.
If you have any more questions I'll be keeping an eye on the threads.

Re: J. C. Garand Match/Battle of the Bulge Shoot
Pete, thank you for your response. The closest to a "military issue" rifle would be my ar15 with iron sights. When funds allow I will be purchasing a Garand. But I don't see that happening by the time of the shoot. It really sounds like fun.

You can come on out & watch, it'll give you an Idea of how our NRA Service Rifle matches run.
We have them once a month from April to Oct.
Your Ar 15 is welcome there.
There are also Club Garands that can be borrowed for the shoot.NEVER TRUST A PRIVATE WITH A LOADED WEAPON OR AN OFFICER WITH A MAP
