Tulpehocken Combat Pistol Shoot: 6/14/09
Since we had so much fun at the last shoot, I figured I would get the next date in front of you guys early enough for you to make arrangements.
There is a Rimfire class and a Centerfire Class. At the last shoot Bender had a sweet ass idea and that was to shoot to pistols in the same class. Brian and I quickly followed suit as it give you a chance to pin your skills back to back with multiple pistols.
It a pretty laid back shoot, so don't think you have to some crazy ass sniper with your pistol to have a good time. Bender, Brian and myself pretty much brought up the tail end of the shoot but had one hell of a fun time doing it. GUNGUY45 can feel in anything I am missing
The cost is $3.00 per gun. So if you shoot a rimfire and centerfire you owe $6.00. This is the same if you enter with two pistols in the same class. Each gun has it own $3.00 cost. You DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER to come to this shoot. It is also a great way to meet some members and check out the range, but don't feel obligated to join or anything like that, this is a shoot that is open to the public. The shoot starts on time at 1PM, and sign begins at 12:00pm. If you come a little early and want to help setup that is always a plus.
What you need
- Wheelguns are cool to use (As long as you got 6 shots), and the same with semi
- 36 rounds per pistol (I suggest your bring 50 per pistol)
- Hearing Protection
- Eye protection
- Bring some water or whatever, you might get thirsty
PS> I am currently uploading videos from the last shoot. When finished they will be on Youtube. When I get sometime tonight or tomorrow I will re-name them, add descriptions and link them in this thread. If you want to seem them before that happens, just search "r1ngmasta" on Youtube.Last edited by Fr0sty; May 18th, 2009 at 05:58 AM.

could make for a long day when everybody starts bringing two or three guns.....so i suggest adding a flashlight to everybodies list. and a grill would be bitch'n, i got pretty hungry there at the end of it.
i can see at least three of mine in the centerfire class next month.Last edited by brian; May 18th, 2009 at 05:36 PM.

Re: Tulpehocken Combat Pistol Shoot: 6/14/09
If we start shooting to many pistols I can see a limit going into place when we have a good shooter turnout. But, if they are cool with us doing it, I will bring every pistol I can get my hands on. It could be the B&D pistol shooting extravaganza!!!!!!!!!!!!! (No clue on the spelling, I never typed that word before)
I stopped by Wolf's on the way home from work and bought a nice little Mark III for a nice price. I think I am going to buy one more from the dude with the shop there. I have the card down on my workbench but damn I can't remember the name off the top of my head.
I dig the rimfire as I can learn how to hit the targets lol! Makes me feel a little better after a horrid round with the 45sLast edited by Fr0sty; May 18th, 2009 at 05:44 PM.

4x8 sheet by 0.25" of ar400 is just over $325.
took my breath away.
did'nt think to ask about 500, i'll make that call tomorrow.
400 would stop pistols forever, but if the 500 isn't that much more, why not?it's only metal, we can out think it....

Wow,
definitely not on the cheap end. Well if we get organized with a good layout, show we have the shooters, and maybe we up the charge to $5.00 per rifle, we might be able to cover that cost in time, maybe getting the club to fund some dollars.
Jim,
Yea, I've been calling him Wolf/Wolfy since I was around 10 - 11yrs old
