Default OC in a tax office?

I have to go to the local tax office on Monday. Can I OC? Is that office off limits?

    IANAL,

but you should be able to unless there's some sort of policy against it.

    This.

If it is in a restricted building, then no (except for courthouses, which should have lockers for check-in).

If it's in the municipal building, then carry all you want. If it's a private building, then it depends if the owner allows it or not.

The answer will dependon whether the property that the office is in is private or pubic.
If private, then private property rules prevail.
If public it depends on if it is municipal/county, state or federal.
If municipal or county then it can not be off limits (preemption) unless it a prohibited place by statute:

If state then the above link *and* their policy will dictate.

If federal than it's of limits.

In many townships in Pa the tax office is in the collectors home. They would dictate policy then.

Is Columbus Day a legal holiday?

I think it is municipality-owned. I decided CC because I do have to take the bus. I don't think RRTA is very gun friendly. Thanks guys.

If it is an IRS office then it's a federal facility and you can not carry in there.

No knives either over 2.5 inches.

Pepper spray is not a restricted item.

Believe me I guard several federal facilities.
