Default Using a drone to spot.

I have a small drone with FPV capabilities. Ive been thinking about using it to spot at the range (200 yards). Anyone here done this?
Ive got a cheap spotting scope (X40) but its still difficult if not sometimes impossible to see .22 caliber holes, depending on light conditions.
I know I would have to practice flying it to do this but it might be fun trying.

    This is pretty creative ray!

Just make sure she doesn*t get shot down range.

A camera drone with gps and an auto hover would be the way to go. I have the F11 GIM.

Neat idea. If you could hover right above bullet trajectory and have high enough frame rate to capture the bullet going by that would be great video.

High speed cameras are expensive and heavy.

Thought about doing that years ago when I built my first one. Then I though about just placing the camera
down range and watching it from a monitor. Never did either.

Even if you can't fly it for shit, you can still walk it down there and set it up as a remote camera.

Very true, I didn't even think of that.

Mine is just a small older cheap one (Hubson I think). It doesnt have gps or any kind of navigation. The only cool thing it has is FPV, and even that doesnt work through a phone or tablet, it has a screen on the controller.
