    Here's the problem with the government forcing everyone to own a gun... The government is forcing everyone to own a gun. I'm not in favor of the government forcing anyone to do anything, unless that person has waved their rights in favor of committing crime.

    I'm not here to air my dirty laundry, but I wouldn't be comfortable with certain members of my family owning firearms, and without government mandate, they probably never will either.

    In all seriousness, though, it'd be a better idea to just have the government stop their current material violations of our second amendment rights.
