Emergency Powers Protection Act ?
Can anyone tell me if PA has an Emergency Powers Protection Act, or a Castle Doctrine law in effect ? If not, is there any legislation pending for either one ? Also, where would I be able to find out these things on my own in the future ? Thanks for any help.

1. No idea
2. No, someone introduced one last session, but it was tabled and never voted on. Not sure if it even got out of judiciary actually.

Re: Emergency Powers Protection Act ?
Try this link www.attorneygeneral.gov. You can e-mail them, but they prefer to talk over the phone. As it was explained to me by them "because of nuances in each case, it is not recommended to directly interpet te laws or statutes on the books. If the "Emergency Powers Protection Act" is concerning the situation in New Orleans with the handguns, the law now states that it can not happen in PA. On the other hand, the Governor that we are soooo lucky to have is working on changing that.
