Santa came early, and he/she voted McCain
the family deal is that she got a mag full function testing, cleaning, and a one month wait for the big day... i took the time to snap a picture.
....i must say she points VERY well, but fit and finish was not the best (not too much of a worry since i plan this to be a shooter) and WOW was she tight (\insert jokes) i mean i could barely cycle her at first.
...3 am bathroom visits may require a homestead security check to the safe.
(and yes, to be 100% PC Santa is Unisex)

You know what I've wanted since I saw the Die Hard movies? . . . A Glock 7. . . You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. It doesn't show up on your airport X-ray machines, and it costs more than you make here in a month!

On the later models the forward asist has been dropped and the stock changed to take Steyr AUG magazines. As I recall MSAR parts are not fully interchangeable with Steyr AUG parts...
As a side note Steyr will be introducing AUG's into the marketplace by the beginning of 2009 but the production will only be at about 100 rifles a month.
If you go into the armory section of ar15.com you will see posting there about the status of the Steyr AUG and the MSAR.
