High quality, decent caliber pocket pistol?
Hey folks, I'm looking for a decent quality, 9mm + caliber pocket pistol.
Something in the less than 6.5 inches overal long, 1.5 inches thick area. I've done a lot of looking on Gun Directory, but I'd like to hear some opinions.
Right now I have a Kel-Tec p32, and I love the fact that I can just toss it in my pocket and I'm good to go. But I'd like to eventually get something with a little more kick, but keep that mobility.
I'm thinking price range 800 or less, so yeah...I'll be willing to spend a bit for what I'm looking for.
Also, not looking for revolvers...I find them to be too bulky, even if they are more reliable.
So let me hear it, what are your favorite small sized powerhouses?

Re: High quality, decent caliber pocket pistol?
Kahr has been known for a while to make compacy 9mm pistols. I have heard of spotty reports about their quality/longevity, but most seem to iron themselves out.
Walther has the PPS, which I am probably going to get some time this year.
There are also 1911 style 9mm pistols which are compact - kimber, springfield and many other manufacturers make them.
Also, you said 1.5" thick, that puts you into glock 26/27 territory, if that is something you want. The others I mentioned are closer to 1" thick, which makes for good carry.

I carry a KAHR CW9 in my front pants pocket in a nemisis pocket holster when I'm in a hurry and just running out of the house for a short trip. I love it.

I lust after a Rohrbaugh R-9, but that's probably about $200-300 over your price point.

If you want a small 9mm pocket pistol rather than a revolver the only one that I know of is the:Rohrbaugh R9/R9S Pistol which is 5.2" x 3.7", weight is 12.8 ounces, and is slim and smooth to be an almost perfect pocket carry.

If you like Kel-tec, have you looked at the PF-9?
Take that money, buy the gun, spare mags, a case of ammo, several holsters, and your all set.
