Default Suppressor on AR with Ciener kit?

I have a Bushmaster A2 20" HBAR ban-configured. I have a SWR Spectre inbound and was wondering if anyone else successfully runs a suppressor with their conversion kits. If so, I'm probably going to have the barrel threaded along with the other ones I want to use.

    I do--but i have a kuehl dedicated 5.5" upper for my .22 AR. It runs a TAC65 can. Here's a photo.

What is the twist on that barrel?

The reason I ask is, although I've never seen any keyholing and the kit is reasonably accurate for what it is, I want to make sure there's no adverse affects - I don't want any baffle strikes.

Since mine is a dedicated upper built just for .22 it is 1/16 twist.

I see your point about using a 1/9 twist though. I can't say how that will work with a can. I didn't think about that but i'd think you would be ok--but i too wouldn't want to see you have a baffle strike.

I run a suppressor and think it generally makes the gun run better.

All the twist rates are fine for using 40 gr and lower through a suppressor. 1/16 is more accurate for 40 grain and lower. Some people like to use the 60 grain subsonic because it might be more likely to cycle the action than weaker subsonic. I have heard the 1/16 might not stabilize the longer bullet. The 1/9 or faster might be better for 60 grain bullets.
