    Default Countdown time...

I applied for my permit to day. I live in Chester county and I've heard it may take a little as 2 weeks.

It may take as little as a day, actually.

My wife applied for her permit in Chester County, early afternoon, and it was in the mailbox the next morning. I assume they looked at the application, ran a quick PSP check, printed the permit, and put it in the mail inside of about 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, I applied for a renewal in Philly on May 11 -- still no word.

Current CCW expires July 17, thus presenting a dilemma if no renewal by then.

    That's because you're a degenerate.

And as usual, a mediocre degenerate. If I were a true, accomplished degenerate, they would have nixed the renewal right away.

Clearly, I need either more or fewer vices.

Mine took just under a month in Franklin County.

The guy at the Sheriff's office said they were really busy this time of year (February at the time) and had a lot of permit applications to process. In reality it's probably just a bunch of BS, but if it is indeed true it's nice to know so many people are applying for them.
