LIVE VIDEO
What I wouldn't do for a gust of wind and a pair of bolt cutters.
PITTSBURGH -- Four climate activists are dangling off the West End Bridge in Pittsburgh, displaying to a large sign calling for change.
The banner is hanging from the underside of the bridge. Each person is attached to the span with a rope.
The sign says "Climate Destruction Ahead" and "Reduce CO2 Emissions Now."
Several city police cars and ambulances are stationed on the bridge, but no effort has been made yet to reach the protesters.
One lane of traffic is flowing in each direction on one side of the bridge.
The other two lanes are shut down with police activity.

personally, i say just ignore them and let them hang there all day if they want. (no need to close any of the bridge or anything.)
hanging in a harness does get rather uncomfortable after awhile...F*S=k

I'm with letting them hang.
What ever happened to protesting for the appropriate reason?
It's the G-20 Summit, Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors.
It is not Greenpeace, Stop Global Warming or any other enviromental summit.
Them protesting here makes about as much sense as finance ministers and central bankers protesting at the Artic Circle for changes in the banking industry.
