Talking Little girl stops MWAG call...

So I'm at sheets waiting in their extremely long check-out line, and I hear one teen boy say to his buddy "Dude, that guy has a gun" His buddy replies "That's a big gun". I hear a collective "Cool".

Now two charming old ladies overhear this... so old lady #1, standing in front of the teens says "Who has a gun!" Then I hear her tell her old lady friend "That man right there... he has a gun!" Old lady #2 says "We should tell somebody!" Then #1 says, "I don't think he's a policeman." Which really cracked me up. Then #2 replies "I'm going to call someone!"

Just then my little daughter runs over, hands me a pack of sugarless gum and gives me a big ol' hug. Old lady #1 says "Oh look, that's his daughter, how cute." Old lady #2 says "Awww, isn't that nice." I'm like... WTF! LOL! Two seconds ago I was a crazy man with a gun, and now I'm citizen of the year! As we strolled past the women, I fought the urge to holler BOO, and instead I smiled politely as we exited. They smiled back like it was Easter Sunday.

I love that little girl's hugs!

Dude, I know having my 2 daughters with me saves me from having problems with people. Its hilarious but it completely disarms people. I'm thinking of giving them the MWAG handouts to give to people when I'm OC'ing.

Lol, I lost it at the "Boo" part.

I absolutely cannot stand it when it seems like EVERYONE has to be in my buisness. I'm just an average joe, out and about like they are and all of a sudden I'm a bad guy because I'm young and carry a gun. GAFB.

Whoa, sorry about the rant. Time to hit the sack.

How come none of this (certainly not just this thread) ever happens to me?

What a great idea, have your kids hand out the flyers. Anyone gives them a hard time, they look like the bad guy for being mean to children, I love it.

Dude, your either completely insane for OC in Savannah on Bay/River street and have a death wish, want to sue the city for ton's of money, or it was during daylight hours before the riff raff and the hundreds of cops come out to play!!!

BTW, I do hope you have a license to Carry firearms while doing so as its required in GA!

Double Dittos to this idea...... Simply carry some with you and ask your kids to hand one to anyone you overhear making any comments....

    Outstanding!

I would have given you +5 man points for yelling "BOO!". Now you'll have to live with +1 rep :P
